About Nærøyfjorden Camping
What started as a quiet reopening of an old family farm has become one of Norway's most recommended campsites. National Geographic found us. Lonely Planet sent visitors.
But we're still the same: a small place, a big view, and family hosts who actually live here. We've added modern showers, a guest kitchen, great motorhome and tent spots - but the silence? That stays.

Why Choose Nærøyfjorden Camping
While other campsites line the highway, you're at the water's edge. No traffic noise, no crowds - just fjord, mountains, and family hosts who live next door.
This isn't just where you sleep. It's what you'll remember.

Tranquil Environment. Bakka sits where the road ends and the fjord begins. Twelve neighbours. 1,400-meter cliffs. Silence you can hear. UNESCO protected this place for a reason - and so do we.

Motorhome, campervan, tent, or cabin—the fjord doesn't mind how you sleep. And when you wake up: a private sauna over the water. Boat rides to ancient trails. Kayaks, fishing rods, the steepest hike you'll find. Or nothing at all. That works too.

We're Olav Magne and Katrine. When the old farm went quiet, we came back to wake it up. Now we know every trail, tide, and weather shift by heart. When you stay with us, you're not a booking—you're a guest.
